Above is our Wednesday group kids in their cute costumes and our Tuesday group kids enjoying our special musical balloon time for our Halloween parties last week.  This week, our Bible story will focus on the "Wise Man Builds His House on the Rock.  I am planning to build a Lego house and place it on a rock and in the sand where it will crash as a part of the story illustration.  We will sing "The Wise and Foolish Man," (words below).   We will also sing "Jesus Loves Me," "Twinkle Star," "ABC Song," and "2 Little Eyes."  We wil also sing "Johnny Works with One Hammer" that we sang a couple weeks ago.  We will show four paper shapes: square, rectangle, triangle, and circle to make our own houses for our craft time.  For snack time, we will have Goldfish and a cheese slice.

During our opening time, we will continue painting the animals from "Brown Bear."  This week we will string paint the Blue Horse using craft sticks with pieces of yarn attached to resemble horse tails.  We will also build our own houses with wood blocks.  We will use our orange balloons this week again during our music and movement time.

Storytime this week is "This is the House that Jack Built" by Simms Taback and a fun story/song "I've Been Working on the Railroad,"
